Ever since the update last week my Firefox has been freezing. It will work fine for a bit and then it just stops and I have to force it to close and restart. Other people I have talked to have been having the same issue. I am being forced to use Chrome and I hate it.

Also, since about a week and before and even after the update I have not been able to listen to my Pandora through Firefox. There is an orange banner across the top that says "We're having trouble loading Pandora. Try refreshing this page. If that doesn't work, please visit our help page." Which brings me to a Pandora help page. I did everything they said and it still doesn't work, although it works fine through Chrome & IE on my system.

Actually I had this problem last week and there were two solutions I found helpful. Here they are. Do BOTH and then let m know if I can be of further assistance.

Solution #1

Please uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. Note: your Firefox Profile is saved.

You can get Firefox 57 Final Release from here : https://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/Mozilla-Firefox-for-Windows/1032985422/1 MAKE SURE you select whether you have 32 or 64 bit system!

Solution #2

You could try this please : Go the Menu then Tools --> Options --> Performance and untick everything. change the recommended size lower then see how it runs. Hardware Acceleration might have also been a issue so turn it off. Run it later and see as you turn things back on and test it, and again. Restart Firefox after making these changes please.
