Went to Bookmarks...followed instructions..went to import..only Outlook came up. How do I get Google Chrome to appear so I can receive needed Bookmarks. If a solution cannot be found the Chrome Bookmark import, then the solution would be to return to Google. I Like Firefox, but I will revert to Google.

You're probably looking in the wrong place. Outlook isn't a browser, so that shouldn't even be part of your results.

Click Bookmarks, then Show all Bookmarks, then Import and Backup. Now click Import Data from Another Browser. You'll see a popup listing every browser that's on your computer. Select the one you wish to import from and click Next.

Hi Crane1, if Firefox seems to be unaware of your Chrome installation, you can use the two-step method:

(1) Export from Chrome

  • Browser menu button > Bookmarks > Bookmark manager
  • Bookmark manager menu button > Export Bookmarks

(2) Import the Chrome bookmarks file into Firefox

See: Import Bookmarks from an HTML file

Normally Firefox adds an "Imported Bookmarks" folder, and using the Library window, you can move the contents you want on the Bookmarks Menu and Bookmarks Toolbar using drag and drop or cut and paste from the contents of that folder.
