yesterday i uninstalled ghostery+adblock plus and installed privacy badger + uBlock origin + https everywhere to replace them, and the worked well, i then loaded all my 400+ tabs i had open at the time to give em a bit of data (tree-style tab lets you have so many!) shortly after i restarted FF and the add-on icons were then blank and the add-ons had stopped working (their functionality was non-existent and their settings didn't show up properly, i then restarted again and they were working again and i kept it open the rest of the day. today when i opened FF the 1st problem came back and i tried restarting it a couple times to no avail

that doesn't help me, if it was 1 add-on i'd agree with you, but 3 of them at once?

I have all three extensions that you mention. I regularly find that I have to disable Privacy Badger for websites to work properly. [I have similar problems with Ghostery]. Try running without Privacy Badger.

With 400 tabs open you are almost guaranteed to have problems. I would suggest that you bookmark all of the tabs you really need in relevant named folders on the Bookmarks Toolbar and only open those related to your current work. [I can't imagine how you can remember which tabs you have and how you can manage them].
