How can I resend an email?
Occasionally when sending an email I receive an error message. It may be an auto message from a server (sender or receiver) that the email was deliverable due to a detailed stated reason or an error from Norton stating that an email was not properly sent due to a (internet) connection problem or disruption. The later typically occurs when I am traveling and connected to a motel or other WiFi network that has less then optimum signal strength, speed, & bandwidth. I am hoping that Thunderbird has a resend option similar to MS Outlook. Please help.

Thanks for the idea Matt. I have been doing that for years but was hoping there was a "resend" command similar to MS Outlook.
Actually I generally prefer forward. Makes it obvious to the recipient they were in the original notification and when that was. But that is usually because when I resend it is because someone is not happy about finding out about something after the event.

go to the sent folder, or anywhere you can select the message. Right click, select edit as new message.

Thanks for the input Matt. I had never considered that.
