I just click the play button but nothing happens.

1) Videos work normal on other sites like Youtube, Vimeo, Coub and other sites.

2) Running FF without extensions does not solve the problem.

3) Chrome plays twitter videos on the same PC.

hellosct1, oh, well, your link kinda helped. Just from the first Note I went to the lock icon menu. Tracking/blocking rules had not anything special. But than I erased cookies and site data from that menu and videos started to play. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I guess this problem has nothing to do with FF, but it was all about Twitter got some malformed data preventing their scripts to work properly.
