hello I'm a Firefox user and i use the reader view a lot for a lot of my reading. i tried finding a text highlighter add-on to working the reader view but found none. can anyone help me highlight text in the reader view

Hello GreenOlive,

I had never used Reader View, but just tried it to see if I could highlight text. 'Clicked on the first character of the text I wanted to highlight; then pressed the Shift key and clicked on the last character, and it highlighted just fine (as always).

So my guess is that this isn't what you're talking about .....

Then I turned on the Find bar (Ctrl + F) - that works just fine as well.

If that isn't what you are looking for either :

I did find few text hightlighter add-ons (no mention of Reader View in any of them) and I was wondering if maybe you could contact the developer(s) of one of them and ask them about it (?)
