remember password greyed out when adding new account
For some reason, when I go to set up an existing email account, my "remember password" option is greyed out. So any new accounts I have keep asking for the account password when I start up Thunderbird again.
I have like 7 email accounts and all the previous ones have the password remembered. What gives?

Check a setting: Menu icon > Options > Options > Advanced > 'General' tab click on 'Config Editor' button In search Type : signons
- signon.rememberSignons.visibilityToggle
- signon.rememberSignons
Both of these should have the Value = True Double click on relevant line to toggle from 'False' to 'True'
Close window - top right X Close 'Options' tab

Thanks! I figured it out when I tried this. For anyone with the same issue, the problem for me as the KeeBird extension (Which works with Keepass, but is currently not working properly due to TB 68.X release).
Keebird info: Works with Thunderbird 68.1.0 - 68.* https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/keebird/
Yes, but see here: https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/thunderbird/addon/keebird/reviews/1160009/ I think there may be issues there. Honestly this plugin hasn't worked out for me so I just removed it. Forgot I even had it.
