I have two imap accounts configured in TB that do not exist on the server any longer. I am trying to get TB to stop checking them since it causes error messages to pop up. Currently using TB 68.10.0. In the two accounts under server settings I have unchecked 'check for new messages at start up', 'check for new every x min', and 'allow immediate server notifications', but at start up I'm still getting error messages.

Other accounts are working fine, as expected.

What might I be missing?

Try this: go Offline from File/Offline/Work Offline, then see if you can copy to Local Folders, confirming that the full message is copied.

Why not remove the accounts, after copying the messages (if they are still available) to Local Folders? Select an account in Tools/Account Settings, Account Actions, at the bottom of the left pane, Remove Account.

I like this idea, but I'm getting stuck with a spinner of doom when I click into the accounts inbox. I can click different emails in the inbox and usually get them to display in the message window, but trying to move or copy to a local folder doesn't do anything.

Combining the two suggestions solved my issue, thank you!
