Hi Everyone,

I'm running TB v78.5.1 for Windows 10 (64-bit). I've just now finished migrating my emails and contacts from Outlook to TB. There were no issues with the migration. I have two email accounts that I have configured in TB, they both run using POP.

I'm now in the process of duplicating the message filters that I had under Outlook. From what I can tell, it appears that I must create these filters by email account. Which means that I would have to create the same filter once per account. Is there a way to create message filters only once but have them apply to both accounts?

Thanks, V.

Filters are stored in the msgFilterRules.dat file in each account subfolder of Mail in the profile folder, e.g. Mail\pop.gmail.com (same for IMAP accounts in ImapMail). Help/Troubleshooting, Profile Folder, Open Folder, to open the profile. The dat file can be copied between account subfolders (with TB closed), so if you create filters for one account, they can be copied to others.

Hi sfhowes,

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll try it out and let the group know how it goes.

Cheers, V.
