hello there, i am using firefox on a old pc with duel cores only. There is a independent firefox process always running at my background using 100% of one of the core. because of just one core left for windows, it crashes frequently. Also no matter what i do on firefox or keep it idle, that process always takes 100% of the core. please tell me how to solve that.

ThankYou

Hi,

I recommend using Firefox ESR for your device. download by clicking link below, https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-esr.

open menu -> options -> performance -> turn off use recommended performance settings https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/performance-settings?as=u&utm_source=inproduct turn off use hardware acceleration there restart your computer and use Firefox.
