Videos will not go into fullscreen

I cannot get any videos to go into fullscreen since updating to OSX Big Sur. I've tried troubleshooting mode, re-installing, refreshing, clearing cache and cookies. Nothing works. Doesn't matter the website either.

Tried other browsers and they all work just fine, so its 100% an issue with Firefox.

Is this something they'll be fixing in a future update or am I switching to Chrome?

I have no real idea. but based on decades of seeing such companies rise and fall, its doubtful.

if you google widevine, it seems that maybe they were hacked.

but when one company goes down the sewer, another flushed up.  :-)

in the meantime, use the other browsers for specific tasks in order to make your computer and life easier.

and use FF when you need to protect your privacy.
