bold textI am sorry, but I can't figure out how to save a bookmark to a specific folder or to move a bookmark to a specific folder. Drag and drop doesn't work. There is no menu with a move option. Add bookmark only places in the default folder, not giving me an option to choose a specific folder. I am using a Samsung S2 tablet, Android OS.

Hi

If you long press on the bookmark, you will see the option to change the location it is stored under. This article will help:

I'm having the same problem. I followed the instructions in the link provided by Seburo but none of them worked. Also, the Star icon that used to appear at top along with Share, etc., no longer appears. I've used Firefox on my laptop for a couple decades and am very happy with it. Can anyone help me with this problem on Firefox for Android (v96.3.1)? Thanks.

Unfortunately the instructions in the linked document are wrong. I tried it out and they need to be changed slightly to get it to work.

After you choose the folder you want to move the bookmark to, it says to tap the back arrow a few times. This step is WRONG! You need to tap the back arrow ONCE to get back to the Edit screen, then tap the checkmark in the upper right corner to save your changes. Then you can tap the back arrow enough times to get you back to where you need to be.
