"Sign In" box reappearing repeatedly whenever open firefox browser
- 1: I hit Firefox tab to open browser and am immediately required to type in Primary Password, entered, presumably accepted.
- 2: However, the "Sign In" box reappears a second time requiring re-entering the Primary Password; again primary password is entered (presumably accepted).
- 3: Astonishingly, the "Sign In" box reappears a third time requiring typing Primary Password, comply (presumably accepted).
Unbelievably, this continues ... The "Sign In" box reappears, hit cancel. "Sign In" box reappears, hit cancel.
Confusing, Distressing, Exasperating, Annoying, Provoking, Enraging, Unpleasant, Aggravating, Infuriating, etc., etc.
Why? Why? Why? I'm ticked off, want to "throw in the towel" and head back to rival browser.

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use-primary-password-protect-stored-logins Important: After you have defined and set your primary password, you will be prompted to enter it once for each Firefox session, when Firefox needs access to your stored passwords. This also applies if you want to add, remove or show a password.
This means anytime the Password Manager is accessed, you need to enter the Primary(Master). This includes logging into websites, when the browser syncs, and so on.
