I have gone through all the things listed in the Firefox site to help with this issue, and have even tried to close it in task manager or put some commands into widows to open Firefox, but it has done nothing. My firefox only does the loading wheel like when you click on an app, but will not open, the most is when I try to open the troubleshooting mode/safe mode for it and it pops up the safe mode window for half a second, not even with the option to refresh and then closes. This is the second day in a row, and I even tried completely resetting my computer but it will not open.

You can check for issues caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation that is missing runtime components (Redistributable Packages) required by Firefox, especially VCRUNTIME140_1.dll.

See "Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022":

You may also have to install the Visual Studio 2013 Redistributable Package. You need to reboot the computer.

So I tried that and it still won’t work. It opened once and then automatically closed after about half a minute and is continuing to not open

What OS? Do you have the same issues under a different user account? If Windows, can you try windows in Safe Mode. What security software are you running? What version of Firefox?

im using windows, and i have tried to open it in safe mode but it still wont openfor more than a few seconds. Ive been using norton security, and i have the permissions set to allow firefox to work, so i dont think thats the issue. I've tried both the version of firefox thats installable online at their site or in the winidows store. Currently the one i have downloaded is version 102.0.1.0 which is the latest windows downlaod.
