Submitting crash reports by email or another way
My work computer is behind a firewall that is a forward and reverse proxy. Firefox crashes fairly frequently but my work computer is not using and will not be using the forward proxy; that is for the web server. Therefore the crash reports so not get submitted. There is an error message: "There was a problem submitting your report." Is there another way to submit them?

Work computer... Windows? If Windows, Is the version of Firefox 32bit or 64bit? At my previous position Firefox crashed daily and I noticed that they are using the 32bit version in a 64bit world.

It's 32-bit on a 32-bit version of Ubuntu.
UPDATE: Try downloading 32bit from Mozilla and see what happens. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

Interesting... Why the 32bit version of OS?
Because that was what I installed on this computer more than 10 years ago when I got it. I can't remember but I think that was the only thing available at the time. Now that I am actually backing up my work... I went a long time with my fingers crossed... I may bite the bullet and upgrade to the latest 64-bit Ubuntu.
I appreciate that you are responding to my concerns, but my question was not about upgrading firefox (which happened this week anyway, automatically) but about an alternate way to submit crash reports.
I'm not aware of another way to submit. You should download Firefox 32bit from Mozilla to a folder, unzip, and run firefox-bin to see if it also goes boom. Moving to 64-bit sounds like much better and long over due decision.
You are undoubtedly correct about moving to 64-bit. I will absolutely do it when I replace this computer and maybe sooner.
I'll wait and see if anyone else knows another way to submit crash reports. I think the recent upgrade has fixed some problems, because it's not crashing 5 times a day as it was when I asked the question. So perhaps it doesn't matter much if I can't do it another way.
