Webpages are not loading, at all on FF for Android
I have no idea what is happening... But after restarting, clearing my cache, making sure I have data and it is working for other apps... Still no results.
No matter what, whether I try to type in a URL, click on a link in the google app, or refresh a page I already have open, the app doesn't even attempt to load a page or throw up an error. Just a blank background, no loading bar, no error messages, and no redirects...
FF for Android Version 112.2.0 Build #2015946691

Assuming that you have no data in Firefox for Android that you would wish to keep, have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling Firefox for Android from the Google Play store?

I've been on that version of FF from the start but sadly I've been having this issue very frequently. Especially when closing the app and/or coming back to already open tabs. Is there any other solution besides the reinstall?
Web sites continue to only partially load for me using Firefox for Android version 115.0. I have deleted the app and reinstalled twice with no success. How can I get the update for Android version 115.0.1? If I can't get this resolved I will be forced to use Chrome.

I've had this issue for a long time. I can get Firefox to start working again by closing all tabs and restarting Firefox.
I had this bug, and it single-handedly caused me to switch back from Firefox to Chrome. I want to like Firefox. I thought it had shaken the image of being less feature rich and capable than Chrome. But a bug that makes the entire browser unusable? That's a fast way to lose committed users.
My solution: forcibly stop the application, empty the cache, and that usually gets it going again. I'm on version 116.2.0. This issue is super annoying though. I don't want to have to back again and again having to do this for my daily browsing. (And this happens several times a day...)
This happens on miui on the latest version too, and it's really annoying reinstalling the app also doesn't resolve, its soo frequent that I feel like ditching the browser alltogether
I have been having this same problem for a month or 2 now.
Nothing helps, did everything but to no effect, reinstalling also doesn't work.
I'm really trying my best to support and use Firefox but this makes the browser absolutely unusable on Android. I had to type this issue into chrome...
Addition: It still happens on Firefox 116.3.0
Same problem here and I've now got *four* versions of Firefox installed and they all have the same problem except if on WiFi. On cellular, nothing will load at all but all other browsers are fine.
Seriously how does a bug like this get through regression or testing?
I have a milder version of the problem which is "fixed" by force stopping Firefox repeatedly. Pixel 6A.
20 or 30 pages are fine, then it hangs and the page stops loading, or doesn't load at all, or a video won't play. If I then force stop it and then go back the FF, the page that didn't work is now working perfectly. I don't need to re-enter the URL or anything like that, the page automatically works OK. ( Force Stop doesn't seem to "stop" anything at all.) Then 20 or 30 pages later ... just the same thing again ... and over and over.
Strangely I had the same situation on my old phone, an Honor 8A, so I wonder if something in my non-Firefox settings elsewhere on the phone make this particular version of the fault follow me round.
And I've cleared the cache, cleared the data, re-installed without any additional security apps, made sure it's not linked to my laptop FF, everything I can think of, no result.

I keep having the same issue, mostly on sites that I visit frequently. While uninstalling and reinstalling the app fixes the problem temporarily, it keeps returning (I reinstalled Firebox yesterday and painstakingly recreated my pinned shortcuts, only for the problem to reappear today – very frustrating).
I hope the root cause of the problem can be tracked down and a proper fix implemented, as it's really crippling FF's functionality as my main web browser.
It seems to be somehow related to the caching of websites, as opening the affected sites in an incognito tab usually works, and it rarely or never happens on sites visited for the first time.
I tried all the solutions mentioned above, except reinstalling Android completely... I really didn't want to do that. So I looked around a bit more. First of all, there are lots of suggested solutions, but rarely one that works (except reinstalling EVERYTHING...) some people just reinstall Firefox, but in most cases, it still doesn't work.
In my case, the solution was in the APN configuration on the SIM card. I deleted the address configured for the proxy (192.168.210.1) and the port (8080), leaving the fields empty (not defined). Now everything works perfectly again. I hope this helps someone!

Thanks, this worked for me with 118.1.1
Since today I have the same issue with the current Firefox Mobile version. I've tested 119, 118.2, 118.1, 118.0. None worked. Last night I was watching a series before falling asleep and today I wake up to my browser not working anymore. All I get is a blank page. I think somehow Firefox has no internet. Like at all. Not even the add-ons page is loading. I already did all lot of things like restarting, uninstalling, resetting network settings, etc. Nothing worked. Also none of the tips here worked.
Same issue here, neither Firefox Nightly version 121.0a1 nor the 'normal' Firefox 119 let me connect to the internet while I'm on mobile data, they only work when connected to wifi. Maybe that piece of information helps?
Tried all the problem solving tips in here, nothing helped.
