I am trying to connect a gmail account to Thunderbird..... but i keep getting this error message ...400. That’s an error.

The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know. I believe all setting are correct and my password for the gmail account is the same as my google account spent many hours on this lol

Please share your server settings. I have also found that I have better success with gmail setups by omitting the password during the setup process.

I tried without the password but got the same error message.... have cleared cache .... re logged in etc.... still no luck. I would have thought that it would be such an easy thing to do to add another account.... the set up is so straight forward
