115.4.3 (64-bit) Can't archive or delete an account
My Thunderbird just updated to version 115.4.3 (64-bit). I have an old work-related email account that I have kept in order to refer to messages. With the new version of TB, I now get a pop-up every few minutes asking me to log in to this account. (This was not happening before the update.) This email account has been deleted by my employer, so my old credentials don't work.
How do I archive or (worst case) delete this account so that TB does not keep trying to log in and access messages there?

highlight account in left sidebar, rightclick and select settings. scroll down left sidebar to 'account actions' and click the remove entry from that dropdown menu.

If this was a POP account, you could create a new folder in Local Folders, copy the messages from the old account to the new folder and then delete the account.
Thanks, David, for your reply. I have copied my emails to a Local subfolder as you instructed. How do I now delete the account itself?
