Suddenly this morning, a new toolbar appeared on my copy of Firefox (131.0) showing one item, Getting Started, which I have no use for. I managed to delete it and it was replaced with something telling me to place my bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar, which I also don't want. How do I get rid of it as it's nothing else for me but a waste of screen real estate?

That is the Bookmarks Toolbar, you can hide this toolbar by right-clicking on free space in the toolbar area.
