This morning when I opened my email, only six unread messages were in my Inbox. I have 400 messages but now can't see any of them. How do I retrieve them.

Click on 'Quick Filter' at the top right and use the 'Unread' button. It toggles between hiding and revealing unread messages. See if this works.
