When I have to write on a web page, I have some french characters, not all. If I let my web page opened, I write anything in another program (ex: text editor), then return to Firefox, all my french characters are availables.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== We formatted, install new Ubuntu version (10.4) and Firefox 3.6.3

Maybe a problem with the default font that doesn't work well in Firefox and that other program changes the default (serif or sans-serif) to a font that works better.

Try a different default font in Firefox to see if that helps. Édition > Préférences > Contenu : Fonts & Colors: Advanced

I was skeptical, but it seems to work!

Thanks a lot!
