Firefox will not load javascript. Gives errors "javascript not enabled." However, I have the "javascript enabled" option checked in preferences. Firefox also is having trouble with adobe flashplayer. I cannot click on any buttons in flashplayer. This is all occurring since updating to 3.6.6. I have tried opening the same websites in safari and they all work fine.

I am have the similar problem with https://mail.google.com/tasks/canvas?pli=1 http://42goals.com/goals/ and youtube.com Where the javascripts should be, I see blanks instead of flashplayer. I tried to open firefox in safemode without addons, and a few other things. I believe the problem is inherently in firefox.
