How can I enter the sync key from my phone? Clicking "add a device" in Firefox 4b11 does nothing.

I'm running Firefox 4b11 on Windows 7 and nothing I do allows me to add my phone to sync. Clicking on "add a device", "change password," or "My Sync Key" does nothing, so I can't even get my sync key to add the phone manually.

Try launching Desktop Firefox with Add-ons disabled. The menu entry should be found in the help section when using Firefox 4.

You should be able to add a device by opening the Firefox Mobile preferences and then scrolling to the Sync section. Press the connect button and you will get a 12 character pass phrase. On your desktop open the options window and then the Sync tab then use the add a device button to enter the 12 character code from your mobile.

If you are not near your computer you will need the Sync Key that was given to you when setting up Sync.

Did you read my question? Clicking the "add a device" button does nothing. Nothing pops up, nothing opens. It has now happened on two different computers running Firefox 4b11.

On another computer running 3.6.13 with the add-on, clicking on "add a device" just opens up the webpage showing how to set up sync, not a window where the 12 character phrase can be entered.

How can three computers not being doing this at all?
