Since my upgrade to Firefox 4.0, the application Speed download do not seems to be compatible. I now have to drag file instead of the download starting automatically and sometime for bigger file it just won't work at all. Any issues I should Know? Thanks

I don't know why all guys are turning to 4 FF . Always remember never to use a program till it fully get developed , because it may be buggy , some software (Add-on in this case) won't work , crashes may occur n the speed will be a lil away from the max. Try installing the Flashgot extension.
let me know about the outcome :pXle ŋuɖoɖo sia le goya me 👍 0

last thing i can tell you , because i have moved back to FF 3.16 so could not practically perform this one :(
The reason Speed Download doesn't work in Firefox 4 is because the plugin is 32 bit and FF 4 is 64 bit. Two of my plugins are 32 bit and do not work, Garmin and QuickTime. Garmin asked to reload in 32 bit, while the browser was in 32 bit, I downloaded some files and didn't expect Speed Download to pop up. But it did. YazSoft needs to make the plugin 64 bit and work with FF 4. There isn't a problem with FF 4. A temporary fix is to load FF 4 as a 32 bit program. Do this in Finder by selecting FF 4 and do Get Info and check the box "Open in 32 bit mode".

edit: 0k, duh, mac version. :$
ps. jeanmarc if it's add-ons that don't work, the way to use old ones on a new version is by installing something like the add-on compatibility reporter and/or the nightly tester tools.
