If I fail to click Rember for a new password, is there a way to Remember it later? mber it later?
In the past I have sometimes failed to click Remember when I set a new password. Is there a way I can add Remember to such old passwords now?

Firefox can only "remember" passwords -- new, or old -- if you click "Remember" when it gives you the prompt. But if Firefox stored your OLD password, you may be in luck.
Most sites let you reset your password; if the site requires your old password in order to change it, get the old pass from Firefox (go to Tools, Options, Security, Saved Passwords). Click the "Show Passwords" button on the "Saved Passwords" to see the old pass.
When you create your new pass, make sure you click "Remember" when Firefox asks you if you want to save it.
Hope this helps.
If you clicked "Never" then you have created an exception that you need to remove. If you ignored it or clicked "Not Now" then Firefox should ask to store the password the next time you visit the web site and log in.
Remove site(s) from the Exceptions:
- Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: Exceptions
Many thanks; I've never tried this before and it's nice to know there are people out there who care enough to read and respond. Best, -jim butler
Many thanks; maybe the sites that I missed are all sites that don't allow that in the first place, since I've never noticed Firefox asking me again the next time I went on. (Or it's embarrassingly possible that Firefox has asked ... and I've just failed -- again -- to notice.) I'll keep a sharper eye out, and I really appreciate your response. Jim Butler
