When I go to the 'favorites' folder from the 'Start' menu my selection opens on a pop-up for "add-printer" and will not open the site, even-though it displays the correct address. From FireFox favorites tab on top of the page I have no problems, except I cannot add, delete or organize from that tab. I have no printer or software installed. This just started a few days ago. Also, when I open the 'organize favorites' tab on top all I get is a blank page; not so from the start menu.

Firefox doesn't use "Favourites" , that is a term used by Internet Explorer. If you see "Favourites" on a Firefox toolbar, you probably have an extension installed that connects the IE Favourites with Firefox. If that is the case, you need to seek help from the developer of that extension.
