The flash player plugin for firefox on Mac has always worked properly until Firefox version 4 and 5. From within these versions, handcursors are not displayed when rolling over buttons . Does Mozilla intend to do anything about this?
Problem in Firefox 4 and 5 on Mac No hand cursors are showing up when viewing flash content.
Basically anything flash tries to do with the cursor fails - however, no other flash functionality fails (such as scripted or other animations that fire on roll over)

Note: Here are some forums that detail the same issue - none of the work-arounds provided here worked for me though.

This has been an issue since Firefox 4. wmode while also an issue is not what this is talking about. wmode="transparent" and possibly wmode="opaque" caused hand cursor issues in Firefox versions <3. Firefox 4 & 5 are simply missing hand cursor support entirely even when wmode="window".
C'mon Mozilla!! Be a pal and fix this bug.

I understand that this has been reported as a known issue in your bug tracking - but currently isn't assigned to anyone. Does Mozilla intend to do anything about this?'
I'll post any response they give.

I updated today to 5.1 and they still have not repaired this issue. I have updated twice now since this problem and I really wish they would pay attention to this because I use FF as a web development tool in my business.
Tested with FF6 beta. MouseCursors do show again
