when opening a page a bar always comes up and says "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page. How can I stop it, it is very annoying
Cannot add much more to the question. The bar appears below the toolbars and above the open page, at the right of the bar it has a button which says Allow? Would hope there is an answer to the question Regards Vivien

-> click Firefox button and click Options -> Advanced panel -> General tab -> Remove Checkmark from Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page -> click OK
Check and tell if its working.

Thank you very much for the answer to my question about a Bar opening saying "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page", every thing is all right now and another thing I have learned. Vivien
I also had this problem and the above solution fixed it. Thanks
I have unchecked stop pop ups and also warn me before web site redirects, but the latter option always reverts to checked value, even after restarting, should i re-install or update version?
By the way, i am using version 6.0.2
Which OS are you using ??
