Firefox continually asks to remember passwords for each site I log into. I would like to disable this feature. How do I do that? Additionally, how do I have it "unsave" passwords that it already has saved?

  • Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  • Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  • Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.

Remove saved Password(s):

  • Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"

Disable the Password Manager

  • Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Remember passwords for sites"
