I am using FF with a dialup connection on a Mac which is turned off every day. When I restart the Mac, FF defaults to "offline mode." I want FF to automatically connect to the internet every time the Mac is turned on. Currently, FF defaults to "offline mode" and I must manually uncheck the offline mode every time.

I found this reply (https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/772672?s=default+online+mode&r=15&as=s) but it does not help me in any way.

When I use IE, Safari, or NS, I am always automatically connected when I turn the computers on. I want the same behavior in FF.
