Command C not working in Firefox (8.0.1) on Mac (10.6.8)
it will copy using the drop down menu but not the keyboard shortcut. The short cut for paste works okay. The short cut for copy seems to be working in other applications.

Reason for this problem: Hotmail introduced a new keyboard shortcut feature which has been acting out on OSX.
Fix for this problem:
- Goto Hotmail options (top right hand corner of Hotmail) and select More Options.
- Under the category Customising Hotmail select the option Keyboard Shortcuts
- Select 'Turn off keyboard shortcuts' and then save!
All fixed, CMD+C will now work to copy text :)

I did more research and Command "C" does not function ONLY WHEN TRYING TO USE IT IN HOTMAIL. I have other sites open in Firefox and I am able to Command "C" and Command "V" from them just fine.
Problem is not in Firefox it is in Hotmail, specifically the latest update which allows you to "flag" emails to keep them at the top of your inbox. Sorry for all the fuss.

It worked thanks! What am I giving up by turning off this option?
