I use the search feature in the library under "organize bookmarks" to help identify duplicate bookmarks. This would be a lot simpler if a column displaying the folder were also shown for each bookmark.

Try this extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/show-parent-folder/

After install and re-starting Firefox

  • open Library window Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks
  • right-click on right pane column headings, check/click the column headings you want displayed; Parent Folder column is added by above extension
  • drag column headings right/left to position that suit your needs.
