Additional plugins required message, but no plugins available.
Just purchased a new computer OS Win 7 - every web page in firefox has message bar saying: Additional plugins required to display all the media on this page. There is a box to the far right to Install Missing Plugins.., but no plugins are available. The existing forum topic on this subject has no working solution.

the "Rich Media Player extension 1.1.0" extension that you've installed is quite uncommon and might be malware. try to remove it & run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.
Thanks Philipp - no malware present; uninstalling the Rich Media Player solved the problem. I appreciate your help!
