McAffee Site Advisor keeps showing error messages. Every time I open a new window, I will have to wait for the error message. Then I can choose to stop the plug-in or continue to wait. How do I just turn it ff completely, so I don't get slowed down so much?

Most likely it is an extension. You can manage your extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions.

Can you find it and disable it?
