I uninstalled Firefox, then re-installed, but forgot to backup bookmarks - actually forgot to backup everthing. But when I uninstalled, I did NOT check the option "Remove my Firefox personal data", then after I re-installed, all my passwords, previous settings. adds-ons are there Except Bookmarks.

I never backed up my bookmarks, but is there anywhere my personal data incl. book marks are stored?

Do you have a bookmarkbackups folder with JSON backups in it?

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)

hello yd2014, firefox creates automatic backups of your bookmarks. you can go to firefox > bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import & backup > restore and select a backup from before the reinstall.
