There is nothing to take a screenshot of. When I type Google in the address bar or use the Google search bar or try to access my homepage which is Google.com or access my Google+ page, the little green "connecting" wheel just spins and spins.

If I switch to Yahoo search or use google in another web browser, it works fine.

BTW, gmail works just fine.

Ok, then try clean your cache and history

  1. Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
  2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
  3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
  4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else.
  5. Now click the Clear now button.

Nope. In doing research, what about downgrading to the previous version, resetting FF, or disabling all addons?

Hi Malcolm!

Holy cow, you've got a lot of plugins. Let me answer your questions.

  1. Downgrading to the previous version?: I strongly advise against downgrading simply because most problems can be fixed.
  2. What about resetting Firefox?: Resetting Firefox is an option but let us troubleshoot first
  3. What about disabling all addons?: Also an option and my first recommendation.

One thing that bugs me is that you have BOTH 11.7 r700 and 12.0 r0 of Flash. Please remove the 11.7 r700 plugin by going to Firefox button/File>Add-ons/Plugins

Second, you have a plugin called npmnqmp 989898989877 that is suspicious. That is the Move Media Player. If you don't use it, disable it.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
