It appears from the web that the current Firefox browser does not fully support Windows 8.1 64-bit. Is an updated version planned that will fully support Windows 8.1 64-bit, and if so when is the expected release?

The first article suggesting to use Aurora may be dated now as Mozilla had a article about using Aurora channel builds for Windows 8 a few days after the Firefox 24.0 release and the now current Fx 26.0 was in early development on Aurora channel then.

I just want to know what to expect when I download, or if I should wait for a newer version. Do I understand from your reply that version 28 is required to support the touch screen section? If so, is 28 the current version, or is its release anticipated in the near future?
