how do I uninstall an add-on that is not showing up on my list?
When I go to my Facebook page, part of it has a message that reads "ads by browse to save" maybe a hundred times on the page. If I click on a picture or something, "ads by browse to save" will keep popping up, as long as the window is open, making it nearly impossible to comment/read other comments. I clicked the link and it brought me to browsetosave.com which gives instructions on how to uninstall it from firefox.
The PROBLEM is that "Browse to save" doesn't show up on my list of extensions/add-ons/plug-ins. This happened to me before with a different "ad" website and I had to uninstall/reinstall firefox. I was hoping to not have to do that again, especially since I don't know what's causing it. I do have screenshots (although I don't see where to add them).
Any help would be appreciated!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
- Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

I suggest that you visit a reputable forum specializing in malware removal instead of trying to follow instructions on various websites that may run you into trouble.. See Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware for some recommendations.
P.S. You said you have screenshots but you didn't know how to post them herre. You can add them by typing in the "Post a reply" box in this thread and, before submitting your reply, using the "Add images" Browse button to upload the images. See How do I create a screenshot of my problem? for more information.
Thank you, everyone. I had to run a few different anti-spyware programs a few times, but I finally got it off.
