Can I switch from Comcast.net to wowway and keep all my Thunderbird email ,Addresses,folders,etc?

I have Comcast.net and I am using Thunderbird for my email. If I were to switch from Comcast.net to Woway.com can I still use my existing Thunderbird and will I keep all of my current information on Thunderbird?

Move all your emails to local folders. Setup your new account on Tbird pop or imap Keep the old one some time to see if there is any incoming mail.

Empty trash, compact and use webmail to see if there is anything left. when your satisfied just go into account settings, mark the account, open account actions and remove account
