I had to install a new hard drive in my HP laptop that had Windows 10. I installed Thunderbird after repair, and I have Windows 8 now. I have data saved on USB. How do I transfer from USB to Thunderbird? Or any other way? I need simplified directions , this is really not my field of expertise.

I'm going to ask a probably unhelpful question. What exactly was copied to the USB device?

You need your old profile and all you need to do is copy it over the new empty profile on the new machine. If you have something called

...\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird

or at least something that was previously in that location, then you're good to go.

Hi, I did respond to your e-mail with my answers and I never marked your answer as helpful. I don't know what is going on here.

Thank you, I will try what you are suggesting.

The reply email is a no reply email. Your reply goes to a big bit bucket in the sky. I suggest you post your answers as I have no idea what is happening here and without your answers, I doubt Zenos does either.
