My Thunderbird installation has started hanging (unresponsive) more than 50% of the time that I waken my computer from sleep on Windows 10. It's been going on for over a month; I am currently running 128.5.2 esr. Never had this problem in the past - I've been a Thunderbird user for years across multiple devices (Windows, MacOS, iPhone, iPad).

What steps or information should I be taking to either resolve this issue, or collecting to help understand what's going on?

Not getting new messages after waking could be related to one of the bugs mentioned at Bug 1850679 - Sub-Folders show as having new messages, but then don't list the new messages - after sleep

But a total hang is a different animal. Does it happen if you have Windows started in [safe mode](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12376/windows-10-start-your-pc-in-safe-mode)? If safe mode helped, what antivirus software are you running?
