Running Win10 - Thunderbird 128.5.2 My Thunderbird app is associated with 5 Gmail accounts. Configured to: IMAP Mail Server Port: 993 Connection Security: SSL/TLS Authentication Method: OAuth2

Problem: When I launch Thunderbird and subsequently attempt to open a message in an Inbox, Thunderbird starts downloading over 400 messages. It attempts to download the same 400+ messages every time it's launched. Attempts to navigate within Thunderbird while the downloads occur result in "Thunderbird not responding" making the app useless.

Mitigation attempt: I've reinstalled Thunderbird from the Thunderbird site, but it did not fix the problem.

Anyone else have this problem? What's the fix?

Thank you for your reply.

What happens if you unsubscribe from the "All Mail" folder?
