Why is FF4 screwing up my cursor icon and hover capabilities?

more options

Every website I go to on FF4, the hovering capabilities no longer work. The cursor also stays on the "typing" cursor, or the hand, or whatever, no matter what I scroll my mouse over. I did not have this problem in FF3 and can't seem to find anyone else having this problem.

You never realize how important these tiny details are until they start working wrong.

What's going on here? How do I fix this?

Help is GREATLY appreciated.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I tried disabling every single extension, theme, and add-on. Restarted my comp, didn't help. I also created a new firefox profile in terminal and started firefox up brand new and still had the issue.

I downgraded to 3.6.16 because I couldn't stand it anymore. Here's to hoping they fix that in the next few upgrades or so.
