1. Yes you can upgrade without problem if you have Firefox 9.0.1 System Requirements

2. It is working with some toolbar dysfunctionality, you must see here and your choice is yours (Anti Banner,URL Advisor and Virtual Keyboard dosnt' work on Mozilla Firefox 9.0.1) .
