First, have your computer cleaned of virus and mal-ware. Many local public libraries have computers with internet access. Buy a thumb drive. At the library enter Mozilla.org, when you get to the site, select to download the full installer. While you are there, download several of the listed programs below.

Some good news, Microsoft has updates for Internet Explorer.
