I'm using Firefox v 29.0.1

After Firefox restarted, I no longer have the option of opening tabs...even the new tab button has disappeared from my browser. If I use the file menu and select 'new tab', a new window opens. What happened. It worked so great before you 'fixed' it.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem
