Why does Firefox 30 only start for an Admin account in OS 10.9 and no one else?

Firefox 29 ran fine in all accounts on my iMac running 10.9.3. Firefox 30 will only run in my admin account and no one else's account. I've fixed permissions, checked the hard drive, cleared cashes.

Why doesn't Firefox 30 run in all accounts on this iMac like Firefox 29?

BTW, I gave up after three tries to reset my account password (treborg) and just made another account. I responded to at least two e-mails with links for password reset. So you have another problem to fix.
