can't sign in
I haven't been able to use my username and password today and did not receive the password reset email, sent to two different addresses. I note others have this too and it's a recognised bug. I have win 7. Mozilla has just forgotten me.

What site are you trying to access?
When you ask for a password reset, the web site will send one to you at the e-mail address they have on file. If you still get nothing, you must contact their customer service.
emailed support and had no response. I was trying to sign in to.......erm, firefox. for erm.... support. Asked them several times to email reset and got none of the emails.
Firefox 30 can't print selected text either. Really disappointed. This is hard work.
Given up. I have no time to waste on this.
The Print button that is in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list is the Print Preview button.
You can find the Print item in the File menu (File > Print) or use the Ctrl+P shortcut to have a print selection item and other print setup options.
- Tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu bar.
You can have the Menu bar permanently visible via "View > Toolbars"
You can also look at the Universal Print extension.
Tried F10, resetting etc and ctr P which did not show me anything useful. Either my Firefox doesn't like my win 7 setup or there's a conflict with another programme. Eventually found an add-on as others have the same problem but the font of the chosen text was minute. The print preview button only shows part of the page, unless you reduce size of font (to unreadable).
Error message notes limited functionality, but doesn't say why. On two of my computers. Both win 7. It's strange but as others have the same issue, and the add-ons suggest an attempt to solve it, the problem is not my stupidity but a problem with Firefox.
Print preview and ctrl-p are basics, and for someone with 30 years experience of computing, makes me feel rather silly. And before anyone else suggests a basic, yes, I did install firefox from a reputable site and did look through the knowledgebase and try everything suggested.
Please try this;
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by;
Windows; Tools > Options Linux; Edit > Preferences Mac; application name > Preferences
Then Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration.
Do Not Restart ! ! ! After you have done the above, try to use the printer.
Ah. This computer is so fast with SSD that it's almost impossible to get into safe mode with F8.
Not The Computer, Firefox !
Please click this link, and follow the instructions; Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
Thanks for clarifying that for me. Appreciate it.
