Message downloading 3 of 1 in inbox keeps appearing or similar where the first number is larger than the second and there are no new messages anyway

The green bar at bottom right shows apparent progress of the downloading, but then sticks at 100% loaded and the message then can clock up to downloading 4 of 1 in Inbox.

  1. Close your Thunderbird Completely and Reopen it and try it out.
  2. Check with your IMAP Settings and Disable your Firewall
