I'm using Firefox 32.0 keep getting update massage. When I try to run it I get an error massage!
Hi. I'm running win7 and Firefox 32.0. I keep getting an update message on firefox, asking me to update to the latest video add-on. When I download the "Setup.exe" and try to run it I get an error message.
Any idea what's wrong?

Hello,
That sounds dubious, like something triggered by malware. Can you attach a screenshot of the message?
Firefox extensions, themes, dictionaries, language packs and search plug-ins aren't executables (.exe) files. Furthermore, such add-ons update automatically by default, without prompting you. You can also update them manually:
- Click the ≡ Menu Button
- Click the Add-ons icon.
- Click the Gear icon near the top right and choose Check for Updates.
Plug-ins are separate software applications. They either have their own updater (e.g. Flash Player), or they're updated along with the application they're bundled with (e.g. Office, iTunes).

Thanks for all your help. It seems to be a malware problem. I ran my Kaspersky security and it picked it up. I have done a clean and all seems well.
Thanks again.
